Annual Meeting October 22nd.

On October 22, 2014, the PowWow Pond Council will be holding its annual meeting at the Kingston Library at 7pm.  All are welcome to attend.  We will be electing our board members as well as discussing the most recent events surrounding the conservation and the protection of our pond.  Anyone who is interested in running for a board position should let us know prior to the start of the meeting.  We will hold a Q&A session and look to create a new committee to run the PowWow Pond annual fundraising and awareness events.

WE WILL BE RAFFLING OFF A BEUTIFULL $800 OLD TOWN KAYAK ON SATURDAY AUGUST 2ND AT 2PM.

TICKETS ARE ON SALE NOW AND AT KINGSTON DAYS AT OUR TABLE UNTILL 1:55 PM ON SATURDAY.  TICKETS ARE      $5 EACH  OR 5 FOR $20.

FISHING SUCCESS AFTER MILFOIL TREATMENT

Jaycub and other fishermen tell us the bass fishing is so much easier and more fun after the milfoil has been knocked down.   on July 20th. two weeks after the herbicide treatment Jaycub caught and released more than four large mouths.
